About Us

GoSTEAM@Tech, made possible through a generous gift from The Goizueta Foundation, is led by Georgia Tech’s Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics and Computing (CEISMC) and supported by Atlanta-area arts organizations such as the High Museum, the Alliance Theater, and the Center for Puppetry Arts. Teacher teams from elementary, middle and high schools in metro-Atlanta come together during the summer and collaborate with innovative partners hired through the Innovators in Residence program to create novel lessons for implementation during the school year. The program evaluation explores the effects of the initiative on student outcomes such as engagement, academic self-efficacy, and collaboration and teacher impacts such as teaching self-efficacy, the development of teacher social networks, and teacher collaboration.
