How to integrate AI into Art is structured to maximize engagement and encourage creativity, beginning with foundational sessions introducing concepts and practical applications of generative AI. Students were guided through ideation and creation processes, with opportunities to experiment with various AI tools. The hands-on approach helped students gain confidence in using AI creatively, culminating in a gallery exhibition where their work was showcased in person at the school. Project also included educator-focused professional development sessions, so teachers can incorporate innovative AI tools into their classrooms with confidence.
This project is a semester-long Atlanta Renaissance program that integrated generative AI into art and storytelling. Partnering with Lovejoy High School, sessions introduced students to AI tools like Adobe Firefly, DALL-E, and Runway ML. The program explored AI’s ability to create art, covering everything from text-to-image generation to AI video creation. By the end of the semester, students had developed AI-driven art projects, ranging from digital fashion to multimedia presentations, showcasing their creativity and newly acquired skills.
